... I realized that a week of heavy thinking was about to come to an end. Very important decisions have been made, and personal matters, which had bottled up inside me, have been dealt with.

I seriously needed some time off, in order to regain focus – but not an entire month, as initially intended. One week could do the trick, and I'm more than ready to take on the challenges of work and life in general again.

One of my dearest friends recently accepted a marriage proposal, and that called for celebration. I saw her wedding ring: a beautiful platinum piece with three white diamonds and two deep blue sapphires (all of them rather large!!!). I've had the honor of meeting the groom-to-be, and they both seem to be genuinely in love. I wonder if I'll ever meet someone worthy of such a ring (who would also accept it, that is) – I'll have to work for that, in more than one sense!

Destroy, create, enjoy! There's always reason to celebrate new beginnings!
