Gothic lady, black and green

My pleasure - you have an amazing gallery! I believe AI art offers more opportunity than poses a threat to traditional artists - if they know how to capture an essence, that is, which you definitely do.

In this particular case, I think you show a great take on Victorian Goth, which - unlike what many believe - is not as much about horror as it is about romance. Not that they exclude each other (far from, actually), but I really appreciate a picture emphasising the element of beauty without leaving out the touch of enigmatic darkness. The woman pictured here is one I'd be instantly drawn to and a bit afraid of at the same time. Brava!

I could give you a full iconographical analysis (Panofsky's method with consideration of formal composition, iconographical analysis and iconological interpretation) but that would be a long read. :-)

That was a fascinating analysis. Yes, I agree, there's not much else to say, it's not all about horror for that style. It's a post concept, we are doing that association because of culture. So I like to give my little personal contribution. I like the beauty of darkness for what it is (per sè), not because of horror. There is nothing to be afraid if you find something beautiful :3

"In Darkness Let Me Dwell" as the song goes... :-)
